### What's new

**Dashboard search** - The search panel has been rebuilt. Instead of choosing a type first, one query now searches menu items and content together, making it easier to get to the results especially when paired with `CTRL + K` / `CMD + K` shortcuts.

**Customisable login and register buttons** - Site administrators can now override both the *label* and the *URL* of the login button, and override the register button label, from **Settings → Users**. Useful for sites using SSO or their own terminology ("Sign in", "Join", "Member portal"). The small-screen login icon now respects the same override.

**Widget subtitles** - Report dashboard widgets now support an optional subtitle below the heading, giving you room to explain what a widget is showing. Widget titles are now required, so widgets can't be saved untitled.

**New distributed bar chart visualisation** - A new reusable bar chart type is available to report widgets, showing how a total breaks down across categories in a single full-width bar. It resizes cleanly when the dashboard layout or browser window changes.

### What's Improved

- **Survey list widget** - leaving the "survey types" setting empty now lists *all* survey types rather than none, matching the expected behaviour. The help text has been clarified.
- **File upload fields** - no longer show an irrelevant image "alt text" field for non-image uploads.
- **Status badges** have a refreshed, more consistent look with better colour contrast, icon support, and no wrapping.
- **Dashboard tables** -tidier spacing around linked titles, aligned subtitles, and a fix for title suffixes overlapping long, wrapped titles.
- **Frontend theming** - refreshed default colours, icons and imagery.

### What's Fixed

- **Dropdown menus staying open** - a dropdown panel could occasionally remain visible as an empty box after being closed.
