### What's new

**API enhancements** - The Civio Engage API now exposes full range of functionality in users, comments, project images, and more.

New endpoints in this release:

- **Users** - create and manage user accounts, with roles, user groups and teams set by name.
- **Comments and reactions** - create and read comments, including replies and threads, and record likes and dislikes.
- **Project images** - upload an image to a project and get a URL to use in its content.
- **Imported content keeps its history** - set the original creation date, the author and the current timeline stage when creating content.
- **Safe retries** - an idempotency key on every write, and an external reference on projects, comments and content, so large pushes can be retried and reconciled without duplicates.
- **More of the site to read** - consultation statuses, event RSVPs, project following, site search, menus, the homepage, and the rendered survey form.

Every new endpoint is documented in the live reference at `/docs/api` on your site and in the updated Postman collection. The API is now a complete route for bringing a site across from another platform and keeping it connected to the systems around it.
